CSZ's neighborhly Shabbat morning service is more like a mini-minyan, a small community gathering. We sing, pray, read and discuss Torah together. Ask questions and share ideas in a spiritual and progressive celebration. No prior experience is necessary. Services begin at 10:15am and end at 11:45am. We would like our services to be accessible to those with chemical sensitivities and allergies, and therefore support a fragrance-free environment.

    While the story of Passover has a cast of thousands according to Biblical tradition, the text really revolves around four persons: Moses, Pharaoh, Aaron and Miriam. Each session of our course will delve into the character and context of each individual, what they tell us about our most distant past, and how they touch our lives to this day. Our community-based, music, song, and story-filled Shabbat service and dinner. 3rd Friday of the month at Sha'ar Zahav, 6pm An inter-generational dinner will be served at 6:30pm. There is no cost for this program. We would like our programs to be accessible to those with chemical sensitivities and allergies, and therefore support a fragrance-free environment.
