Passover’s Famous Four

May 2 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every week on the same day that lasts 0 day(s) and 1.5 hour(s), the last of which will begin on May 16, 2017

While the story of Passover has a cast of thousands according to Biblical tradition, the text really revolves around four persons: Moses, Pharaoh, Aaron and Miriam. Each session of our course will delve into the character and context of each individual, what they tell us about our most distant past, and how they touch our lives to this day. We’ll also explore how interpreters of the story, from later Biblical texts to rabbinic times to our own era, have added new insights that bring the full meaning of the story to life.

Taught by Lehraus Judaica’s Jehon Grist.
