Compassionate Sabbath and New Members Shabbat

 
Recently, President Bush vetoed a bill with bipartisan support for child healthcare legislation.  We are rising to the call and participating in a nationwide Compassionate Sabbath in order to show our support for an override of this veto, as we band with other faith organizations across America and Canada.

Also on this evening we are making this as a Sabbath in honor of all new members who have joined our community within the last year.  All are invited, especially if you ARE one of our newest members!   The Oneg will be in your honor!
