Meet Rabbi Burt Schuman, senior rabbi of Beit Warszawa and Senior Progressive Rabbi for Poland

In 2006, when CSZ members traveled to Eastern Europe, we had a chance to visit Beit Warszawa, Warsaw’s Progressive Jewish congregation, and meet with congregants and Rabbi Burt Schuman. We were so moved by the people we met and the stories they told, that we came home wanting to create a sibling relationship with Beit Warszawa, to support and be supported by this amazing congregation. Rabbi Schuman and a Beit Warszawa congregant will meet with us to talk about their congregation and the Progressive Jewish movement in Poland.
