Wake Up for Tikkun Leil Shavuot

 

At Sinai we slept thru the night before receiving the Torah. It took a shofar blast to wake us up. This year we have the fabulous educators of CSZ to help us stay awake.  Join Rabbi Angel, Cantor Bernstein, Andrew Ramer, Ora Prochovnik and Andréa Guerra as we study various Jewish texts in traditional and not-so-traditional ways for an evening of joyous learning. When we study Torah—in all of its glorious forms—we again stand at Sinai and receive revelation. After a ma’ariv service and a dairy potluck (who can learn without food?), we’ll have two tracks of workshops from 8pm to 11:30pm, from text study to collage work and creative writing. Feel free to drop in and add your personal midrash to our evolving understanding of Torah and the World.
