2023 Pride at Sha'ar Zahav

Pride Shabbat

Friday, June 23, 7:30pm

Hybrid: In-person and on Zoom

Show your Jewish Pride at our annual blowout Pride Shabbat!

Pride Pre-Party! Come at 6pm as we usher in Pride 2023 with food, drinks (alcohol and mocktails) and joy! We’ll greet marchers from Trans*March while gearing up for our Pride service.

Then join the most joyful service of the year led by Rabbis Mychal Copeland and Reuben Zellman at 7:30pm, and stay late for a rainbow-themed oneg (post service bites).

Pride Parade
Sunday, June 25
South of Market Street on Main St.
between Mission St. & Howard St.
Look for the Cable Car and the United in Spirit banner.
Arrive by 11:15am

Walk or ride on our cable car! This year, we are marching with a multifaith group of religious organizations. In light of religiously framed anti-LGBTQI sentiment in our country, we will make the statement by walking with other affirming spiritual communities that we are both religious and LGBTQI! Of the many groups marching, we will walk alongside our sibling congregation who shares our building, First Mennonite Church.

Our contingent organizer needs to know if you are coming.

Please add your name to this form.

If you need to connect with somebody on the day of the parade, text (707) 412-8573.

Our contingent number is 135.
